If you ask me personally, If I race the car, it's a race car. I don't race my daily driver. Haven't since I was 18. I learned not to race my daily LONG TIME AGO.
Okay, so we talking Daily Driver type class or Street Car type class? I feel theres two classes here: Daily Driver should be Overdrive trans, AC/Power steering (one of them at least), DOT Tires, Full Interior, Working Radio, Tagged, Insured, and Cruise needs to be required, full exhaust, ASAG, no aftermarket steering columns, 275 unless 17+ wheels. 8 Gallon Fuel Cell +, and no 16 volt charging system (Alternator must be functioning).
Street car classes are the hardest to set rules for IMO. Daily Class seems easier to make rules because you're basically wanting to eliminate any "Race car" from the class.
So basically if you can drive it to Walmart in Texas, during the summer, that’s daily driver. Lol
