What's your power level? 350-450+HP you should be fine on a prepped track with OEM tires. Now this is variable also on the track prep, and track surface temp as well. 500+RWHP you now need some radials to run on a prepped track. Not summer radials, I am talking drag racing radials. Not R888s, I am talking a tire specific for a drag racing track. You know how you go to a club or are getting ready for a dance and you have specific shoes for the specific event, well the same goes for racing. This is a daily question I get, "should I go boosted or stay all motor"? We all want to make the right decisions on our build so that our money doesn't go to waste, so planning what your goals and budget are is the first step. All motor builds are not by any means "cheaper". HP per $ will be more costly than your boosted build. But sometimes people want to be different, so they choose the all motor route.

If you know you are wanting to gain over 200HP you know that Boosted is the way to go unless you want to invest in a nasty all motor build.
